Owner Operators - Tractor Only
Thank you for your interest in working with Ameratrans, LLC. We welcome opportunities to work with new single owner operators and fleet operators, and our staff at Ameratrans has over thirty years of experience to offer you. We pride ourselves on our open communication policy whereby the driver knows exactly what to expect upon the delivery of the load.
Owner operators without trailers will run under our power only division pulling dry vans, flat beds, and refrigerated trailers. Experience is preferred in pulling various types of trailers. Ameratrans hauls freight for major retailers and trailer sales running from Texas east to the upper midwest and as far as the east coast.
We only have the best people working for Ameratrans; therefore, we take the time to ensure each potential owner operator will be a good fit with the company. It is very important to Ameratrans that owner operator partnerships are successful. That is, we expect good business practices, on time pick-ups and deliveries with no shortages and/or damages, and that all equipment is safe and DOT compliant at all times.
Working with Ameratrans, you can expect the following:
Percentage Pay Program: 80% of the gross revenue before deductions (advances, advance fees, insurance fees etc.)
Mileage Pay Program: Please call for details.
Unlimited Earning Potential Per Seven-Day Week dependent upon your motivation.
Year-Round, Steady Work
Insurance Program: If you do not have your own insurance, Ameratrans can offer this for a reasonable weekly rate. The rate is based on years of experience, driving record, driver's age, and make/year of the tractor. Ameratrans can offer insurance for owner operators with minimal experience and/or less than perfect driving records (dependent on circumstances).
If you do have your own insurance ($1,000,000 liability and $100,000 cargo) and can list Ameratrans as additional insured, you can run under your own insurance.
Weekly Settlements: Week starts on a Friday and ends on a Thursday. All original paperwork (BOLs, logs, inspection reports, etc.) must be received by the following Monday, close of business. Settlements are issued on Friday.
Fuel Advances up to 50% and Fuel Discounts

Must have current DOT inspection report for tractor (no age limit on tractor).
Ameratrans, LLC is not a brokerage company; we are a trucking company. We never double-broker loads. All freight runs under Ameratrans, LLC authority.
